Chapter 1169: You Blind Fool
Chapter 1169: You Blind Fool
After speaking, he shot her a disdainful and disgusted glance, unwilling to say another word to her, and turned to walk into the hallway. What? He actually said she was worse than that bitch, Scarlett Yates?
He called her hypocritical, vicious, disgusting?
Alice Green was so angry that flames could almost burst from her eyes.
It’s enough that Matthew Saxon despises her, but now even George despises and loathes her!
Why should she be looked down upon by someone as lowly as George! He’s nothing more than Matthew Saxon’s subordinate, and before he used to be polite and respectfully addressed her as Miss Green.
Alice Green chased after him: "George, stop right there, make yourself clear, how dare you say I’m not as good as her."
"You blind, filthy man, you’re bewitched by Scarlett Yates, that’s why you’re always siding with her."
"I even used to think you were a very upright man, but now you’re no different from those men who can’t move their feet when they see a woman and only think with the lower part of their body."
George ignored her and walked straight ahead, his pace quickening.
He thought Alice Green must be crazy.
Her current state was nothing but deranged, she completely looked like a shrew, no different from those rural village women.
A woman like this, he couldn’t afford to offend, but he could definitely avoid.
"George, stop, didn’t you hear me talking to you? Are you deaf?!"
Alice Green dared not shout too loudly. The airport was bustling with people. Even though she wore a large hat and covered most of her face with a scarf, if she wasn’t discreet, she was easily recognizable.
George soon caught up with Matthew Saxon and Scarlett Yates, who were walking ahead.
The two were standing outside the VIP passage, closely snuggled together, whispering to each other.
Matthew Saxon reached to touch Scarlett Yates’s head, and helped tighten her scarf, then lowered his head to kiss her forehead, looking at her with eyes as gentle as flowing water.
With Matthew Saxon’s aura, Scarlett Yates’s graceful appearance wasn’t striking. The two of them together couldn’t be regarded as the typical handsome man paired with a beauty, but the deep emotions exchanged between their gazes gave another feeling, making people think they were truly a match made in heaven.
They were in love; eyes never lie.
Only half an hour remained until boarding.
Announcements repeatedly played in the hall, indicating the time for the next flight to A Country and reminding travelers it was time for security checks.
"You should go." Hearing the announcement, Scarlett Yates also softly reminded him.
Matthew Saxon curled his lips into a smile and said, "Isn’t there still half an hour? Let’s wait a bit more."
In reality, they’d only be apart for three or four days at most, but both felt an unwillingness to part. Though Scarlett Yates reminded Matthew Saxon he should leave, her hand clutched his sleeve, showing no intention of letting go.
Matthew Saxon’s hand on her waist didn’t loosen in the slightest.
Like any couple in the throes of romance, they had that feeling of never wanting to be apart, even for twenty-four hours.
Scarlett Yates once bragged that even if she fell in love, she’d never be clingy all day, she disliked clinginess and being clung to, that sort of being together every day would definitely not happen to her.
But now, she felt she was beginning to cling to Matthew Saxon.
She didn’t want him to leave, she wanted to go to A Country with him.
