Chapter 183 A bit interesting
Chapter 183 A bit interesting
Unlike his casual attire last night, the man wore a white lab coat today.
He had his hands in his pockets, his face serious, and he looked much more mature than last night.
However, Shen Feiwan didn't look at it much because her neck was so painful that she couldn't move it, and even lifting her eyes to look at people was difficult.
She frowned, about to look away, when the receptionist's voice rang out, "Dr. Su, there's a patient."
Hua Ling then released her grip and took a step back. "Alright, you go ahead and get busy. We'll make an appointment again when you have time."
The man ignored her, his expression indifferent, and turned to go into his office, not giving Hua Ling a second glance.
Hua Ling didn't care at all. When she turned around and saw that the patient was actually Shen Feiwan, she was surprised and immediately walked towards Shen Feiwan with a smile.
"Did you...not sleep well last night?"
Shen Feiwan forced a smile. "Yes, you look terrible. You came over right away. Are you feeling unwell too? Are you here to see a doctor?"
Hua Ling chuckled lightly, her words carrying a double meaning, "I did come to see a doctor, but not because I'm feeling unwell."
She blinked and continued, "You saw that Dr. Su just now, right? I quite like him."
Shen Feiwan smiled politely but did not reply.
Hua Ling, however, did not seem to intend to stop there. She continued, "He looks a bit like your ex-husband. You don't mind, do you?"
...Do we really need to bring this up?
Shen Feiwan said, "Of course not."
Hua Ling nodded in satisfaction. "That's good. Then I won't bother you any longer. Let's talk another day."
After she finished speaking, she turned and left.
Only after watching her figure disappear around the corner did Chen Youen mutter, "Isn't she a bit too direct?"
Shen Feiwan didn't respond, but frowned slightly. "Let's go. I accidentally moved a little, and my neck hurts even more now."
Her movements were somewhat stiff, and she barely dared to exert any force on one side of her body.
Chen Youen reminded her, "Then slow down, walking too much might strain you."
Shen Feiwan understands this principle; she now deeply understands it and takes every step with utmost care.
The office door was tightly closed, and the two stopped at the doorway.
The receptionist knocked gently on the door.
Chen Youen's gaze was drawn to the doctor's introduction on the wall.
She murmured, "Su Qingyuan, what a nice-sounding name. He's obviously not a Western doctor."
Just then, the door was pushed open, and the receptionist stepped aside to make way for them, saying, "Please come in, both of you."
Su Qingyuan was writing something with his head down.
Hearing the noise, she looked up, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes when her gaze fell on the two people. "It's you two."
He quickly put down his pen, stood up, and walked to Shen Feiwan's side. "Come sit here. You have a stiff neck, don't you? Let me take a look."
As Su Qingyuan spoke, he turned around, took out a pair of white gloves from the drawer, put them on, and gently pressed his hands against Shen Feiwan's neck.
After a moment, he nodded slightly. "You have neck muscle tension, and your sleeping posture may be incorrect, causing a slight misalignment of your cervical vertebrae. Let me adjust it for you."
He then turned his gaze to Shen Feiwan and patiently explained, "Resuscitation is the process of using specific techniques to adjust the misaligned cervical vertebrae back to their normal positions, allowing the cervical spine to return to its original normal state."
Chen Youen chuckled as she listened to his earnest introduction, "Actually, you don't need to say so much, just come straight here. Her maternal grandfather's family are all traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, so she's been influenced by them since she was little."
Upon hearing this, Su Qingyuan smiled faintly and said in a very humble tone, "I was just showing off my limited skills before an expert."
“Then,” he looked at Shen Feiwan again, seeking her opinion, “shall we begin now?”
"it is good."
Su Qingyuan then stood behind Shen Feiwan, gently placing his hands on her neck. "Relax your shoulders, I'll be quick."
Immediately afterwards, Shen Feiwan heard a soft "click" in her ears, and almost instantly, her cervical spine straightened.
She tentatively moved her neck and found that the pain had significantly lessened. A relieved smile unconsciously appeared on her face. "It's all better now. Thank you, Dr. Su."
"You're welcome." Su Qingyuan walked to the trash can, his gaze leaving Shen Feiwan's fair neck. As he took off his gloves, he instructed, "Your neck muscles have just undergone adjustment and need to rest. Try to minimize neck movement today, and avoid large head twists and head-down movements to allow your cervical spine time to recover."
After taking off his gloves, he returned to his desk and started working on his computer. "You should pay special attention to your posture when you sleep at night. Choose a pillow of a suitable height, usually about the height of a fist, to maintain the normal physiological curvature of your cervical spine and avoid putting your neck under stress."
"Okay," Shen Feiwan replied.
I started to look him over.
Chen Youen and Hua Ling both said he looked like Bo Junxing.
She hadn't noticed it before, so now is the perfect time to take a good look.
Su Qingyuan noticed Shen Feiwan's direct gaze and felt his ear tips getting hot.
He quickly stood up again, took something out of the drawer, and handed it to Shen Feiwan. "Also, you need to pay attention to keeping your neck warm these next few days. If you catch a cold, it may cause your muscles to tense up again, which will affect the recovery. I have a heat patch here. You can put it on before going to bed, or you can use a hot towel compress."
Shen Feiwan took it. "You gave it to me like this? Shouldn't you write out a prescription or something first?"
Su Qingyuan smiled at her, and his relaxed expression made him look younger again. "This is mine. Actually, you don't need any medicine, a hot compress with a towel will do."
Chen Youen, standing to the side, raised an eyebrow and joked, "Dr. Su, you're so kind to your patient. How long will it take for her to recover? Could you tell me more details?"
“Everyone’s recovery is different,” Su Qingyuan said patiently. “Generally speaking, it takes about three to five days to fully recover. But if you feel discomfort in your neck again or the pain worsens during this period, you must come for a follow-up visit in time.”
As he said this, he lowered his eyes and glanced at Shen Feiwan.
"How about this, add me on WeChat so I can follow up later, and you can ask me anything you don't understand on WeChat."
After saying that, he took out his phone from his pocket, seemingly very casually.
Last night, he took the initiative to ask to add Shen Feiwan on WeChat, but Shen Feiwan refused.
Today, having become doctor and patient, he changed his tune again, asking Shen Feiwan to add him on WeChat.
Shen Feiwan actually found this matter quite interesting, and even felt it was somewhat of a coincidence.
The main reason is that Dr. Su is good-looking and seems to have a decent personality.
Just as she was about to say something, there were two short knocks at the door.
Hua Ling has returned.
She leaned against the doorframe, her gaze sweeping between Su Qingyuan and Shen Feiwan. "Did I disturb you? Dr. Su, are you still busy?"
Su Qingyuan's expression changed instantly.
