Chapter 204 Horrifying Swamp 4
Chapter 204 Horrifying Swamp 4
Hua Yeman was startled and stared intently at the unusual activity in the swamp, a sense of foreboding washing over her.
She could sense that this unknown force was far more dangerous than the small fry in front of her.
"Little Blue Charm, can you feel it? This power is so strong, I wonder what will emerge from it."
Hua Yeman frowned deeply, her expression as solemn as a large stone.
"Master, I'm so scared! What if a super terrifying monster suddenly appears?"
Little Blue Fairy's voice trembled like fallen leaves in the autumn wind, her two little paws gripping the hem of the vine-like garment tightly.
Their eyes were wide open, as if some terrifying thing would rush out and devour them at any moment.
As the swamp churned more violently, a huge black figure slowly emerged from the depths of the swamp.
At first glance, the figure looked like a giant octopus, but upon closer inspection, it was revealed to have countless twisted tentacles resembling braids.
Each tentacle was covered with sharp barbs that gleamed coldly in the dim light and emitted a strong odor that made one want to vomit.
Its eyes were as big as lanterns, their eerie green light flickering in the darkness, radiating endless evil and greed.
But its enormous size and comical movements make it look a bit silly.
The monster had just emerged, still dazed: "Huh? Where am I? Who brought me out? Why did all these minions run away?"
"What... what kind of bizarre monster is this?" Hua Yeman couldn't help but mutter to herself, subconsciously gripping the vine weapon in her hand even tighter.
Although reason told her that this weapon might be useless against such a powerful monster.
But her indomitable spirit made her unwilling to just sit and wait for her fate.
Thinking to himself, "Whatever monster you are, let's have a go! Maybe you're just a paper tiger."
"Master, this big monster looks terrifying! It's even scarier than the ones we saw before!"
Little Blue Fairy was so frightened that she darted into the vines' arms, her whole little body trembling uncontrollably, just like a frightened little rabbit.
Hua Yeman took a deep breath and said, trying to appear calm, "Little Blue Charm, don't be afraid, we can't panic."
"This monster looks scary, but it might have a weakness. You hide first, and I'll see if I can find its weakness."
Actually, she was terrified inside, but she had to appear strong in front of Xiao Lanmei.
The enormous monster seemed to sense the presence of the vines, slowly turning its lantern-like eyes toward her and letting out a low roar.
It was as if it were warning: "Little things, don't try to test my patience, you won't escape today!"
Hua Ye Man gritted her teeth and shouted back, "Don't be so arrogant! You think you can eat us up so easily? I won't just sit here and wait to die!"
She was inwardly apprehensive: "This guy is quite arrogant, so he must be quite strong. I need to be careful and not act rashly."
The monster seemed to be enraged by the vine's tough attitude, and a tentacle suddenly lashed out at her with such speed that it created a whooshing sound.
Hua Yeman's eyes widened, and she cried out in her heart that something was wrong. She desperately dodged to the side, and the tentacle grazed the hem of her clothes, leaving a deep mark on the big rock.
"Master sister!" Little Blue Fairy screamed in fright in the arms of Flower Leaf Vine.
"It's alright, Little Blue Fairy, I'm fine." Flower Leaf Vine reassured Little Blue Fairy while keeping her eyes fixed on the monster.
He quickly calculated in his mind: "This monster attacks so fast and is so strong, I can't fight it head-on. I have to think of a way to outsmart it."
The monster, having missed its attack, grew even more enraged, muttering, "Hmph, you've got some skill, but that's all it has to offer!"
Several more tentacles swept towards the vine, this time spreading out in a fan shape, blocking all her escape routes.
Hua Yeman was frantic as she watched the tentacles rush towards her.
My brain raced: "What do I do? What do I do? Am I really going to die here? No, there has to be a way!"
At this critical moment, she suddenly noticed that among the barbs on the monster's tentacles, there seemed to be some softer parts, like its joints.
"Little Blue Fairy, can you emit a stronger blue light and shine it on the joints of the monster's tentacles? Maybe it can interfere with its movements!" Flower Leaf Vine hurriedly said.
"I...I'll try, Master!" Little Blue Charm forced back her fear.
The fur all over its body shone brightly, and a blue light several times stronger than before shot towards the monster's tentacles.
The monster was struck on one of its tentacles by the blue light, letting out a painful roar: "Ah! What is that light? I hate it!"
Its tentacles seemed to be stung by something, and its movements became sluggish.
Huayeman seized the opportunity, wielding his vine weapon and smashing it hard at the joint of one of his tentacles.
"Break it!" she shouted, and the vine weapon slammed heavily onto the tentacle. Although it didn't break it directly, it still caused the monster considerable pain.
"You little bug, how dare you hurt me!" the monster roared angrily, its other tentacles attacking the vines with frenzied fury.
As Hua Yeman dodged, she pondered her next move, thinking, "This can't go on. I need to find a way to solve this once and for all, but how should I do it..."
Just then, the enormous monster suddenly charged towards the large rock where the foliage was, like a cannonball.
It was so fast that the eyes couldn't keep up, and in the blink of an eye it was under the big rock.
Immediately afterwards, a thick tentacle, as thick as a tree trunk, lashed out at the vine.
As the monster swung its tentacles, it thought, "Hmph, watch me flatten you in one go and show you what I'm capable of."
The vine reacted incredibly quickly, dodging to the side. The tentacle slammed heavily onto the large rock.
With a loud "boom," a large crack appeared in the boulder, sending debris flying everywhere.
But the monster didn't seem to understand what was going on; after smashing it, it just stood there, stunned.
It was as if he was thinking, "What did I just do? Oh no, I don't think I hit her. What should I do?"
"This won't do, we must take the initiative!" Hua Yeman made up her mind, and a resolute courage emerged.
Taking advantage of the moment when the monster retracted its tentacles, she leaped high from the large rock like a nimble little leopard.
Gripping the vine weapon tightly in both hands, he stabbed fiercely at the monster's eyes, which emitted an eerie green light.
Thinking to himself, "I'll poke you, you big oaf! If you dare bully me and Little Blue Charm, I'll make you pay!"
The monster seemed completely unprepared for the vines to attack, and was momentarily stunned.
He thought to himself in shock, "This little girl actually dared to attack me? Does she have a death wish?"
Immediately afterwards, like a powder keg ignited, it rapidly waved its other tentacles.
Like streaks of black lightning, they fiercely blocked the vines and leaves.
"Little Blue Fairy, hold on tight to me, don't be afraid! We'll defeat it together!" the vines shouted in the air.
A resolute flame burned in his eyes, as if declaring to the monster, "Don't underestimate me!"
"Sister Master, I'm here! Be careful! I'll help you!"
Although Little Blue Fairy was terrified, she still hugged Flower Leaf Vine tightly to encourage herself.
The small voice trembled slightly, yet it possessed a firmness.
In the blink of an eye, Little Blue Charm suddenly mustered up her courage and peeked out from the embrace of the vines.
Its small body instantly emitted a soft and mysterious blue halo.
This halo is magical; it's like casting a "confusion spell" on the monster.
