Looking at the panel in front of me, I nodded.
'Sure enough, my attributes have improved quite a bit.'
I came here and went through this process for more than one reason. One reason was to acquire weapons, and another was to improve my attributes.
Generally, a player's attributes will increase the moment they acquire a bound weapon. This is true in games, and it's also true in real life.
However, besides the attributes, there are quite a few other changes.
A flurry of changes and information appeared in the status window, accompanied by detailed explanations. I was about to examine them one by one, but Vogville's impatient cough interrupted my focus. "Stop looking at yourself, kid. If you've got what you need, get on with it. This cave isn't the place to admire your newfound power."
He makes sense. My state of holding the Celestial Radiance also changed, so I nodded in understanding.
'...A stubborn old man.'
I know why he did that. He's the kind of person who doesn't like to show any weakness, and I'm exactly the kind of person he doesn't want to appear weak to. After all, I could see the signs of fatigue in his body. The stiffness in his shoulders, the unnatural posture, and most obviously, his disordered magical energy circulation.
“Thank you, Vogville. I will never forget everything you have done for me.” These words came from the bottom of his heart. Even though I had stirred his emotions and reopened his wounds, in the end, it was he who forged this weapon with his own divinity.
He is the giver, and I am the receiver.
I stood up and our eyes met.
"Your revenge... I will use the weapons you forged to accomplish it."
Vogville nodded rudely, meeting my gaze. "Suit yourself." He looked away, tacitly approving of my decision. He gestured for me to leave the forge, and I did.
I've been here for a long time; a week has already passed. Today is Sunday, and I need to get back to the college before dark.
As I turned to leave, the sound of my footsteps echoed through the cave, when suddenly a voice broke the silence.
"Wait, kid. What's your name?"
I froze, turned around, and saw Vogville asking me. I then realized he didn't know my name.
"I think I forgot to introduce myself."
It's strange; I've been here for a whole week, and he's never once asked my name.
"My name is Morse."
Vogville gave a soft "hmm," seemingly in agreement. "Morse, is that so? Take good care of that weapon; it's a reflection of your choice."
After saying these words, I turned and left. Just as I was about to conceal myself, I suddenly sensed a strange change.
When I activated [Shadow] to hide myself, something unexpected happened.
Something changed inside the Shadow Armor; it instantly absorbed my magic power and merged with my clothes.
I usually wear my armor under my clothes, but that's very uncomfortable. But now it seems different; the armor blends completely into my clothing.
I looked down at the armor beneath my clothes and found that it had completely disappeared.
'Um? '
No, my perception detected faint traces of magic in the surroundings. Then I realized the armor hadn't disappeared; it had simply changed form. Visually, it appeared to be enchanted, with added conveniences for everyday life.
'A strange old man.'
I couldn't help but shake my head and smile; clearly, this was his design.
'Looks like I'll have to make good use of it.'
With these thoughts in mind, I left the dungeon.
......
Waaah!
On the slowly moving train, I sat quietly in my seat.
The carriage was quite empty.
Since it was already late and the Rihua Mountains were not a popular tourist destination, there weren't many people in the carriage.
This is also more convenient for me; I need some quiet time to review the changes in my attributes and other aspects. There's a lot to examine closely, but one thing is more important than anything else.
'The bond aspect.'
Weapons appear in the definition of the bond system.

The level section is missing again.
This is the same as my [Moon] trait. The part that should normally display the level is now replaced by a series of question marks.
There seems to be a connection between them.
I opened the weapon's description and began reading the details.

The radiance of the heavens, the eclipse beyond.
Type: Weapon
Level: ? ? ? (Growth Type) (Stage 1)
Description: The Radiance of the Sky is a unique and extraordinary weapon meticulously crafted by the legendary blacksmith Vogville, embodying the bond between its user, Morse Scott, and his very essence, and incorporating the core of forbidden magic.
The weapon has five different forms, each with different abilities and appearances, just like the types of magic used by Morse Scott. Each type of magic has its corresponding weapon form, specifically designed to maximize its effects.
The Celestial Radiance is a prime example of a weapon tailor-made for Morse Scott, and is highly correlated with his [Moon] attribute. Because it is a manifestation of the user's inner essence, the weapon's development is closely linked to the user's growth.
As users experience growth related to their characteristics, the Radiance of the Sky also grows.
Attributes:
Night Gaze, Twilight Gaze (Green Moon): A ranged weapon that condenses energy into bullets, enabling precise and powerful long-range attacks.
On the day of the sun's ignition (Blue Moon): it transforms into a bow, each arrow of which generates an explosive impact, suitable for varied mid- to long-range combat.
Moonlight, Embrace of the Moon (Red Moon): Twin blades that slice through the air, leaving a trail of crimson energy that can destroy everything in its path.
The Star Chart, the Wheel of Heaven (Silver Moon): A pair of rotating discs connected by silver energy lines, displaying elegant and captivating offensive and defensive maneuvers.
Dark Star, Dark Nebula (Black Moon): Uses a set of rings to control dark forces and shatter the surrounding environment, displaying overwhelming gravitational power.

As I delved into the detailed attributes of [Celestial Radiance, Eclipse of Transcendence], a sense of satisfaction welled up within me.
'It's more than just a weapon of bondage.'
Each form of the weapon seems intimately connected to a specific aspect of me. The description reveals a deep link between the weapon and my characteristics.
This is exactly what I hoped for when forging the weapon. Because bonded weapons are closely related to the player's nature, path, and attribute allocation, everything affects the weapon's appearance.
However, I still need to test the weapon's effectiveness first, but that will take some time.
'besides……'
Aside from my weapon, my attributes have undergone a major change.
My stats have leveled up.

After so much time, I finally saw that my characteristics had changed.
'Is this related to moonstone?'
I pondered. Aside from that, I couldn't recall doing anything particularly special. I trained my magic and tried my best to master it, but I never noticed any significant changes within myself.
However, the feeling is different now, as if I have crossed some important milestone.
'Even though I can't see the changes, I can feel them.'
As I slowly channeled my magic into my hand, I felt the energy compressing within it. It looked much the same as before, but there was a significant difference.
If before I could only cover my hands, now the energy seems to be manifesting around me.
It's as if it's materializing.
In the past, I could only use mana to cover projectiles and enhance them in the process. But now, things seem to be different.
Let me see the results.
Whoosh!
When I cast my magic at the seat in front of me, it pierced through the seat as quickly as a needle.
Just as I expected.
I opened the panel and began to carefully read the changes in the properties.

Features: month
Description: The moon grants the user the ability to use the moon, enhancing moon-related abilities and effects.
This is a growth-type trait; as the trait progresses through each stage, it unlocks more capabilities.
Stage 0: Grants the user the ability to enhance projectiles and imbues them with the power of the moon.
Stage 1: The moon's enhancement abilities have evolved beyond simple projectile enhancement.
Now, the properties offer a more tangible ability to materialize and control lunar energy. The moon's influence is no longer limited to enhancement; users can manifest lunar-themed constructs.

As explained in the panel, I knew I had finally reached the starting point.
'Now, the real beginning is about to begin.'
I have finally obtained the power I needed for revenge.
"It's time to begin."
