Chapter 322 Various Demands
Chapter 322 Various Demands
Ten minutes later, the doctor who examined Tian Tian came out of the CT room.
"How is it?" the dean asked first.
As descendants of European noble dukes, the hospital dared not be negligent.
The doctor looked at the hospital director with a bewildered expression.
The hospital director knew his doctors better than anyone else. He immediately noticed the problem on the doctor's face and asked, "Is there a problem?"
"We can't find the cause of the pain," the doctor said tactfully.
"What is the reason?" Gu Yinshen pressed.
The doctor couldn't explain the reason either, so he turned to the hospital director for help once again.
The dean instantly had an answer in his mind. He smiled and said to Gu Yinshen, "Mr. Gu, please don't worry. I'll go in and take a look."
After saying that, he took the radiation protection suit from the doctor.
Ruolan gripped Gu Yinshen's arm anxiously, her breathing becoming rapid with tension. "Yinshen, is Tiantian really alright?"
"It'll be alright." Gu Yinshen looked at Tian Tian lying on the monitor.
The CT scan is a very comprehensive physical examination. If no problems are found, there are only two possibilities: one, her condition is complex and serious; two, her body has no problems at all.
Gu Yinshen stared intently at every move inside room C.
Ten minutes later, the dean emerged from the CT room, his brow beaded with sweat.
"How strange, how really strange!" the dean muttered to himself as he came out.
The doctor who examined Tian Tian before could only understand why the hospital director was in this situation.
After the dean approached, Gu Yinshen asked, "How is she?"
The hospital director said embarrassedly, "President Gu, for some reason, we can't find any problem with her pain."
Upon hearing this, Ruolan's legs went weak. "She...she has a very serious illness?"
The dean quickly shook his head, "No, that's not it."
"How is her health after the examination?" Gu Yinshen asked.
"She is in good health, and no illness was detected in her by the instruments," the dean said earnestly.
This is exactly what puzzled them: if there was nothing wrong, why was the pain so persistent?
Gu Yinshen straightened Ruolan's body and asked, "Won't there be a problem with the machine not being able to recognize it?"
“Well…” the dean thought for a moment, “A unilateral examination of a single organ may have some oversights. But the error rate of a whole-body CT scan is very small, with no more than five cases nationwide.”
With the dean's explanation, Gu Yinshen was now certain that Tian Tian's pain was feigned.
"Dean Gu, thank you for your help. We'll ask the child first and then redo the examination later." Gu Yinshen said, his gaze falling on Tiantian, who was being prepared for delivery under the care of the nurses in the CT room.
Ruolan was somewhat puzzled by his decision. "Yin Shen, haven't you found the reason yet?"
"No rush." Gu Yinshen said, stepping forward to help Tian Tian. He unusually asked with concern, "Does your stomach still hurt?"
Sweetie looked at the doctors still standing around her and shook her head. "I want to drink water."
"Look, Mom and Dad have forgotten!" Ruolan patted her head and turned to get some water for Tiantian.
Since they were all in their hospital, Dean Gu didn't want Gu Yinshen to have a bad impression of them over such a small detail. He quickly gestured to the doctor next to him, "Go and prepare a few cups of tea."
"Wait a minute." After saying that, he thought for a moment, then stopped the doctor who was about to leave and said to Gu Yinshen, "Mr. Gu, why don't you go to my office? You can rest there, and Miss Tian can also calm down a bit."
Gu Yinshen considered it for a moment and nodded in agreement.
Within minutes, the group moved from the CT room to the dean's office.
Looking at the huge office, Tian Tian lay on the sofa, pressing her hands against her stomach.
"Does it still hurt a lot?" Ruolan sat down next to her and bent over to rub her lower abdomen.
With each press, Sweetie would groan.
As Dean Gu listened to the pitiful and painful screams, even the few hairs on his head stood on end.
If the cause of the illness remains unclear, are we destined to stay in the hospital indefinitely? If this continues, will Gu Yinshen start to think their hospital's technology is inadequate, leading to reduced or even no further investment?
Various potential problems flashed through his mind, and Dean Gu quickly said, "President Gu, please stay here. I'll go out and make a phone call."
"Hmm." Gu Yinshen nodded, his gaze fixed on Ruolan, who was feeding Tiantian water.
After only two sips, Tian Tian couldn't drink anymore. She pushed the cup away and said to Ruolan, "Mom, I don't want to drink anymore."
The water level in the cup hadn't decreased at all, and Ruolan asked with a puzzled look, "Aren't you going to drink it?"
Sweetie nodded, "I need to go to the toilet."
Upon hearing this, Ruolan quickly put the cup down on the coffee table and informed Gu Yinshen, "Yinshen, I'm taking Tiantian to the bathroom now."
"I'll go with you."
"No need. When Dean Gu returns in a while, you can ask him in detail how to handle Tian Tian's condition, whether she needs an IV or oral medication."
After giving Gu Yinshen some instructions, Ruolan took Tiantian and headed outside.
As soon as the door opened, Dean Gu, who was standing outside making a phone call, turned around and looked at them.
"Madam Gu, what's going on?"
"Dean Gu, could you tell me where the restroom is?"
"The restroom? It's just up ahead, turn right. Do you want me to take you there?"
Ruolan glanced at his phone screen, which was still occupied, and smiled as she declined, saying, "No need to trouble Dean Gu."
Sweetie tugged at Ruolan's hand, urging, "Mommy, hurry up, I can't wait."
Hearing the urging, Ruolan dared not delay any longer. Holding Tiantian's hand, the two hurried towards the bathroom.
Jingle bell~
Gu Yinshen's phone rang.
He looked at the display on the screen and immediately swiped to answer the call.
"Yin Shen, you're not home?"
"Yes, at the hospital."
Is it cute or sweet?
"Tiantian."
Hearing that someone was sick, Xie Beiling on the other end of the phone instantly breathed a sigh of relief, his tension and worry gone.
He asked in a relaxed and unhurried tone, "And what was the reason you went to the hospital this time?"
"My stomach hurts." Gu Yinshen thought for a moment and then asked, "What kind of situation would cause stomach pain so severe that even a CT scan couldn't detect anything?"
"You can't find the cause of your stomachache?" Xie Beiling asked rhetorically.
"Yes, I also had a full-body CT scan, and the results showed that my physical condition is very good." Gu Yinshen described the situation in detail.
Upon hearing this explanation, Xie Beiling, a medical researcher, instantly understood its meaning.
"No need to check, she's probably faking it."
"Sure?"
“Yin Shen, haven’t you seen her character yet? She’s always trying to cause trouble and get everyone’s attention. Listen to me, it’s better than letting her stay in the hospital any longer, just bring her back.”
